Meet the Maker

Hi! My name is Claire Butler, and I’m the maker behind these chunky knit blankets.

I’m 13 years old, a competitive gymnast, and I’m homeschooled. Gymnastics keeps me very busy, so making blankets has become one of my favorite ways to slow down and relax after long days at the gym.

I started crocheting and working with chunky yarn because I love creating things with my hands. Most of the time you’ll find me watching my favorite shows, singing along to music, and knitting blanket after blanket. It’s my quiet, creative time.

Each blanket is handmade by me, one loop at a time. Because they’re handmade, some may have tiny imperfections — but that’s part of what makes them special and unique.

I hope my blankets bring the same comfort, warmth, and coziness to your home that they bring to me while making them.
